That would be a nice addition Gary. Also, the other day I was looking for the US Dollar index, couldn't find it so I substituted the ETF instead but the history is very short, if possible could you add that one too? Thanks for your consideration.

Ah, I can see them now in AB, they are listed under Markets > Indexes but not under the top- level Indexes where I was looking before. Thank you!

Database utility in QP 2.3. The program shuts down as soon as Internet
Explorer 8 opens.



Has anyone else noticed this after downloading Internet Explorer 8?



Is there a way to stop the Update Database utility from opening IE 8 so that
the database update can continue?

The download seems to work OK with QP 3.2, btw. QP 3.2 has the option of not
displaying the market report, while QP 2.3 doesn't. I'd probably have to
reinstall 2.3 to get it to work with IE 8.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I don't use Internet Explorer 8 very much any more. When I did, I don't recall it interfering with QP.

Most of the time I used Firefox. I think it is MUCH better...and it is a free download.

The only thing I use Internet Explorer 8 for is for MSN Money and that is because Microsoft set it up so that it only works with their software.

I think Firefox runs more efficiently..it has many many free add ons that do different things that you can add if you want and is updated much much more often.

Just my opinion.

I use QP 3.1 and IE8. After the nightly download is complete, IE8 opens the market stat page while QP processes the data. This procedure completes without any problems.
