Data download consistently freezes in Windows Vista

Anyone else experiencing this?

In the past when I used Quotes-plus, I was using Windows 2000 and never had a single problem, so I think its a Vista problem.

I have been having random problems with Windows Vista in other areas as well...

Is it possible to run quotes plus under linux to avoid all the new Windows flakeyness?
