Charting Beta?

I've been using the QP beta charting program for months until the other
day it said this version had expired. It instructed me to get a new
version from QP2.com. When I go there I can't find anything about this,
or how to download a new version. As is often the case, QP doesn't
respond to e-mail queries (or telephone calls). Does anyone know how to
get the new charting program? Thanks!

Hello Ken

To download the new 3.2, go to www.qp2.com, click on support - download
program installer.

The link is at the bottom of the page.

Hello

Yesterday, the NYSE and Nasdaq put into production their agreement to share
symbols.

Now, NYSE listed issues can have 4 character symbols, and Nasdaq issues can
have 3 character symbols.

Yesterday's changes:

AG to AGCO
CAI to CACI
RIO to VALE

Today's changes:

PEC to PIKE
AXB to ALEX

There is still a problem with yesterday's change of RIO Preferred, it should
go from RIO P to VAL P later tonight. It looks like no one got that right.

Best regards

Gary,

I have recently started looking at Cardionet Inc. (BEAT), and I noticed that
in the QuotesPlus fundamentals, it reports EPS for March 2008 and March 2009
as .02 and .04, respectively.

However, looking at their first qtr 10Q, filed 5/15/2009, they state that
they had a net LOSS of (.63) and (.03) for the first qtr of 2008 and 2009,
respectively. It's the same for basic and diluted shares.

Sales reported by QuotesPlus for those periods agrees with the sales
reported in the 10Q. Nowhere in the 10Q verbiage does it discuss a net
gain, only the above losses.

Can you explain this apparent discrepancy?

TIA...

Hello

The number you see from other web sites are usually GAAP or reported earnings. There are other ways of reporting earnings that remove one time charges and use what are usually called operating earnings, those are the numbers that we have from Reuters. There can be very large differences between the numbers.

Best regards

Using Quotes Plus data chart and importing the data via Plug in to AB
I find that there are numerous stocks that made up the Russell 2000 that are
no longer there
The data is blank and the charts are too

Will Quote Plus be cleaning this data base up?
Attached is a list of the companies and symbols I have that are under the
Rut2000 data set but the charts are blank now
There are about 170 missing

Thank you

Hello Mark -

The Russell group updates those components once a year in June, that's when we normally send out the new list.

I'll look at the list tp see what can be deleted now.

Best regards

Gary
