Relative Strength Lines data

I'm looking info on how to create a scan using the daily value for the Relative Strength Line that is shown in the charting program. I'd like to use that number in a scan.

I'd like to use the Relative Strength Line data set (this is not the RSI function). These are the lines drawn in the charting option under Relative Strength. In the help section it says:

... the Relative Strength Line (in white) compares the value of General Motors stock (green line) with the S&P 500 index.

I would like to develop a scan that uses the value of a stock's Relative Strength number (based on its comparison with the !SPX just like in the charting option)

Any ideas how to write a scan or extract that Relative Strength Line value (as compared to the !SPX for a stock for a particular day) then check if the Relative Strength Line increased for day+1?

Thanks,

Tod
