I have not been able to cause the new QP chart beta to allow my use of
indicator templates. I downloaded and installed the recent upgrade per
instructions from Gary. The chart displays fine, as in the past. I can
then proceed to apply a set of indicators to the chart without trouble.
I then save this as a "template" for later use. But, when I bring up a
new chart, or even the chart I just put the indicators on, and try to
apply the template I get a large box in the middle of the chart telling
me "Quotes Plus Charts 2009-2009 has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry blah, blah, blah. It goes on to "tell Microsoft
about this problem" which makes me think there is something in the
charting program that Windows doesn't like. I've sent the problem to
them, of course that's the end of that. When I click on the "Debug"
option, the chart simply closes and disappears, taking me back to my
desktop.
Gary has told me he can do what I need at his end, implying, I guess
that the problem is here on my end. Does anyone have a suggestion for
me. I'm stumped as the new charting module is of NO use to me in this
state.
Thanks,
Ken Adams
